Leadership Coaching
Good leadership is no easy task. I know this from my own experience. Especially in times of constant change, skills shortages and pressure.
Managers and team leaders often find themselves caught between two stools in their day-to-day work: they are expected to provide guidance, make decisions, resolve conflicts and shape change.
If only there were time for that. Space to think. Clarity in their role.
I can see the consequences in my work: uncertainty, overload, unrest and frustration in the team.
Where would you like to see more clarity, strength and relief in leadership?

It’s time for change and development
My coaching services for executives and team leaders
My coaching gives executives and team leaders space for self-reflection. They strengthen their self-management skills and further develop their role and attitude as leaders. For greater clarity and focus.
Executives and team leaders thus create a foundation for genuine cooperation, greater trust and orientation within the team. This allows a healthy work culture to develop. This is important for the performance, employee retention and future viability of your company.
We take a practical look at where the ‘fire’ is currently burning and develop individual solutions for communication, existing conflicts, dealing with pressure and change, or for team dynamics. For more composure and a confident approach to change.
Leadership creates the framework for Good Work
Good work happens when people contribute their strengths, develop themselves and create value together.
This requires leadership that empowers, enables trust, provides guidance and creates psychological security.
This not only improves cooperation, it also leads to greater innovation and value creation. Anyone who wants to lead in this way must start with themselves, with clarity, self-leadership and inner stability.

Frequently asked questions about coaching
What is Coaching?
First of all: coaching is not a protected term. Coaching, as I understand it, is process support. I am convinced that people have all the resources they need to make the desired changes. As a coach, I help them find access to these resources, which are sometimes unconscious. So I am a companion on the path to self-directed solution finding.
My coaching is therefore not counselling, and you will not receive advice from me on what to do. But of course, I contribute ideas from my own business and management experience.
Who can benefit from coaching?
Coaching is interesting for people in different areas of life and professional fields.
In a professional context, coaching is suitable for employees at all hierarchical levels who are facing professional challenges, want to take advantage of new opportunities or want to advance their professional development and would like external support to do so.
How do I find the right coach for me?
Choosing the right coach is like choosing a travel companion: the chemistry has to be right. Pay attention to these points:
- Listening and asking questions: A good coach listens attentively, asks questions that make you think, and helps you discover new perspectives.
- Empathy & feedback: Sensitive topics require empathy. At the same time, feedback should be clear, constructive and actionable.
- Qualifications & experience: Sound coaching training, recognised certificates and proven experience (e.g. as a manager) are strong indicators of quality.
- Individual approach: Good coaches adapt methods to your goals, not the other way around.
- Use the initial consultation to clarify your expectations. Ask questions about how they work.
- Trust your intuition and check whether you feel comfortable with your coach.
What is the goal of coaching?
Coaching is individualised, time-limited support for people. My clients often come to me with a specific issue that they are unable to resolve on their own. Coaching is about personal development with the goal of improving a specific situation, finding a solution to a particular issue, or working on oneself in general (e.g. in one’s role as a manager). It can also be a mixture of all of these things.
How does coaching work?
We start with a free introductory phone call (approx. 30 minutes) to discuss your concerns and find out whether I am the right coach for you. I will explain my approach and the terms and conditions and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
If the coaching has been commissioned by your employer, a meeting may also be held with the HR department or your line manager to clarify the assignment.
If you decide to go ahead with coaching, we will arrange an initial appointment. A coaching session lasts approx. 90 minutes. Coaching usually takes place at your company premises or virtually with MS Teams. My own premises are also available at the Cologne location.
What does ‘systemic’ coaching mean?
In our lives, we are involved in very different ‘social systems’ where we meet other people: these include our family, the company we work for, or even clubs where we spend our free time.
Our behaviour and that of others are mutually dependent. This means that any change in our behaviour causes a change in these systems and vice versa. That is why systemic coaching also looks at how you interact with your environment and what effects a change you desire will have.
The aim is to understand connections, gain new perspectives and expand your own options for action. The focus is on your resources, your goals and your specific everyday life.
For which topics is coaching suitable?
Coaching is suitable for any kind of change of course when processes of reorientation, behavioural change or personal development are pending in your private or professional life.
What about confidentiality in the coaching process?
Very sensitive issues may be discussed during coaching. Absolute confidentiality is therefore a matter of course for me. This is especially true if my client is your employer.
My work is based on the internationally recognised ethical standards of the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Can I come to you privately?
Yes, many of my clients pay for their coaching privately. Under certain conditions, coaching in a professional context is tax deductible. It is best to speak to a tax advisor about this.
